Cyberpunk 2077 will have a Game of The Year Edition. This was suggested by the CEO of CD Projekt RED Adam Kicinski at a meeting with investors held in Warsaw. During the meeting, Kicinsk revealed as there is the will to publish aa ‘GOTY Edition’ nel 2023following the release of Phantom Liberty.
The words of the CEO of CD Projekt therefore seem to indicate that even for Cyberpunk 2077 there will be the same plans as The Witcher 3: “It is the natural order of things. It was the same with The Witcher 3. After the release of the Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone expansions, it was eventually released as Game of the Year Edition and has remained on the market that way ever since. The same thing is also expected in this case“.
At the moment we don’t know if the new version of the game will be called Cyberpunk 2077: Game of the Year Edition or in another way but we’ll see. Still, it’s been a smashing year for CD Projekt, following the success of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. For CDPR, this was its third best quarter in historyaccording to a financial report.
About CD Projekt RED. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is about to enter the next-gen era thanks to the update scheduled for December 14th. Presented some new features and someone has already made a graphical comparison with the old versions.
