The month of November was very full of releases of absolute depth, there are many games that saw the light during the penultimate month of the year, from Call of Duty Warzone 2 to Tactics Ogre Reborn, passing through Pentiment, Football Manager 2023, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and obviously God of War Ragnarok.
Obsidian’s Pentiment was well received (here is our review of Pentiment) and awarded for its originality, a project with a unique style that could do nothing against Kratos’ fury. Football Manager 2023 has proven to be a solid game but perhaps too similar to the previous incarnations of the series.
Note of merit for Tactics Ogre Reborn which revived a historic Square Enix franchise, and for Call of Duty Warzone 2.0sequel to the most played Battle Royale of recent years. November was also Pokemon Scarlet and Violet monththe two new Pokemon games did not fully convince due to some technical and structural problems but it cannot be denied that the success was thunderous, with millions of copies sold worldwide during the launch weekend.
Before finding out what our game of the month is, it’s your turn to vote below, but let us know in the comments space the reasons for your vote, or if you would have chosen a game not on the list.
We have chosen God of War Ragnarok as game of the month for November 2022. The adventure of Kratos and Atreus has made public and critics agree (in this regard, here is the review of God of War Ragnarok) presenting itself as a sequel with a high profile to one of the most acclaimed games of the PS4 era. Technical sector of absolute depth, solid gameplay, high-level narration, these are the strengths that allowed Ragnarok to stand out from the competition in November. Moreover, we are faced with a title destined to remain engraved in the hearts of players and which we will hear about for a long time to come.
