Deep Silver Volition has announced that all owners of the original version of Saints Row IV will be able to upgrade to the Re-Elected edition for free. Recall that it includes two major additions (Enter the Dominatrix and How the Saints Save Christmas) and sets with equipment and weapons. At the same time, the presence of purchased DLC for the upgrade is not required.
The update will happen automatically on December 8, 2022, and no further action will be required from players. You shouldn’t worry about saves and custom modifications either, as they will be transferred without any problems. DLC will be removed from sale as unnecessary.
On the same day, December 8, 2022, Saints Row IV will receive an update that adds cross-play support on PC. Users of Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store services will be able to play together.
