Youtuber spent in Smash Bros. Ultimate a whopping 69 hours, 4 minutes and 20 seconds, breaking the world record for the longest game played in this fighting game. If you go to the official website of the Guinness Book of Records, you can see that the current record holder in this category is one Daniel Bergman, a Canadian who played Super Smash Bros. (unclear which part specifically) for 57 consecutive hours back in 2016.
Streamer TCNick3 wanted to not just break the record, but “break it by playing 69 hours in a row.”
TCNick3 apparently brought in two independent witnesses to record his new world record. But first he had to make sure that his diet was such that he had to step away from the game as little as possible. In accordance with Guinness World Records rules requiring a 10-minute break for every hour played, TCNick3 slept two hours a night for the nearly three days it took him to complete his plan.
It is unlikely that such a marathon has a beneficial effect on human health, so we do not support this approach to achieving goals.
