In the new week the The Game Awards 2022 will take place and then there will most likely be more clarity as to what Hideo Kojima is currently working on. The cult developer himself now indicates a corresponding announcement.
Chances are high that Hideo Kojima will announce his next game at The Game Awards 2022 in a few days. The same was already suspected anyway, since journalist and host Geoff Keighley and Hideo Kojima have a long-lasting good working relationship – but now Kojima has confirmed this fact in another teaser.
In the last few weeks, Kojima has repeatedly hinted at his next project through teasers via social media. Accordingly, Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna will play leading roles in the title, but concrete details were left open.

Kojima has now published a new teaser image via Twitter, showing three logos and the words “Start a new journey.” is garnished. The tweet was subsequently picked up by Geoff Keighley via the official Game Awards Twitter account, so it can be considered certain that the title will now be shown there.
What is it? That’s the good question so far, because there have been rumors about Kojima Productions for a long time. Actor Norman Reedus had already spoken openly about a sequel to Death Stranding, but recently scenes from the supposed horror game Overdose had also been leaked.
The vibe of the logos shared by Kojima in the form of a picture basically allows conclusions to be drawn in the direction of a Death Stranding 2. In the night from December 8th to 9th, such speculations should be a thing of the past anyway, because then the game will probably be presented!
