Electronic Arts and BioWare introduced a new cinematic Dragon Age: Dreadwolfdedicated to the character, in honor of which the new part of the series received its subtitle – Solas.
The video tells the story of Solas, under the guise of which the ancient elven god is hiding Fen’Harel. His plans were thwarted at the end of Dragon Age: Inquisition when the Orb failed to save. But Solas’ mission is not yet complete, so he returns to the Dreadwolf to tear down the Veil. The only ones who can stop him are our heroes.
By the way, the narrator in the video is Varric Tetrasanother familiar Dragon Age character.
The project also has its own page on the EA website (available in Russian). Developers released news updates in honor of the annual unofficial “Dragon Age Day”which takes place on December 4th. Last year, for example, BioWare published two short stories for fans. The exact timing of the release of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is still unknown, and BioWare is in no hurry to share details. In their blog, the developers noted that they wanted to end this year with a cinematic with Solas – it seems that the project may skip the upcoming The Game Awardsthat the fans were hoping for.
