When it was first launched, there was harsh criticism that surfaced. Many Digimon fans seem to have the wrong idea that Survive is primarily a strategy game. It turns out that the final product tends to have the appeal of a more dominant visual novel game, where you will be faced with dialogue after dialogue from the beginning to the end of the game, of course with choices of answers that will affect story branches and relationships between characters. The good news? Despite the controversy, it still sells well in the market.
Bandai Namco and the developer – HYDE are proud to report that the total sales of Digimon Survive have exceeded 500 thousand copies! This figure is the accumulation of sales of physical and digital versions, across platforms.

There is no further information whether Bandai Namco or HYDE have extra plans with this Survive, such as DLC or just additional content to celebrate this milestone or not.
