Today update 1.16 launches a limited time event in Formula One racing game F1 22.
Update 1.16 for the racing game F1 22 was rolled out today for all platforms. It also includes the limited-time elimination event, along with a number of fixes for different types of issues.
Please note: The event itself doesn’t start until 5:00 p.m. this Monday.

Update 1.16 Patch Notes The limited time elimination event is available. Fixed an issue where players and AI could get wrong DSQ in race if not using different tire compounds. Fixed an issue where tire compound composition options were not visible in ongoing career games. Fixed an issue where players couldn’t change the tire composition on career weekends after the first weekend of the season. Cem Bölükbasi will be replaced by Tatiana Calderon at Charouz Racing System in F2 2022. Fixed an issue where F2 2022 vehicles would not finish due to excessive fuel consumption in 50% of Miami races. Added F2 2022 showroom statistics and history. Fixed a crash on PS4 when loading in split screen with dual wheels. Fixed an issue in spectator mode where vehicles would exceed the rev limit. Fixed an issue where certain vehicles would not have the DRS lights on the in-game steering wheels illuminate when entering DRS zones. Fixed an issue with the Mercedes car where part of the front wing remained attached to the car after being damaged. Updated and adjusted Alpine livery colors. Fixed an issue on Alfa Romeo where the left mirror was imaged with the wrong material. Fixed an issue where Mick Schumacher would not have a helmet in career after changing teams.
