It’s not only a new season, but also a whole new chapter that has appeared in Fortnite! Among the novelties of the latter, we find the reinforcements. In this article, we tell you how it works and how to use them in your games.

Reinforcements are a brand new Fortnite mechanic that just appeared. The idea behind it is quite simple, it is to grant you passive bonuses during your games. At regular intervals of a few minutes, you can choose one.

You will be offered two different ones and if you cannot find one that suits you, you can restart a draw and hope to have two new ones that suit you best. Once validated, you will have to wait again to choose one.

Of course, this number of reinforcements is not unlimited and in a game of Fortnite you can only have four. For now, there are 22 different ones available, but new ones may arrive over the weeks. Some might even be removed to keep spawn percentages correct.

Now that we’ve seen how reinforcements work, let’s see how to get them. The first thing to do is to go to its settings. In effect, by default, reinforcements are not allocated on a key for a certain part of the players.

Once it’s done, you don’t have to do anything in particular, except to watch the bottom right corner of your screen. This is where you will get an indication when one of your reinforcements is ready. Moreover, you can find those already discovered in the reinforcement tab of your game.
