Finnish company Nokia received permission to supply its products to Russia. As noted RBCthe corporation plans to maintain the existing infrastructure for three years, then it must curtail its activities and leave the local market.
According to the publication, Nokia applied for export licenses to two European and two American regulators. One appeal has been granted, three more are pending.
The fact that the company sent a request to the US Bureau of Industry and Security and the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs became known in early November. The company asked to be allowed to supply telecommunications equipment to Russia. Nokia announced the termination of deliveries in early March, at the same time the company assured that the equipment already imported would continue to be serviced. Recall that they removed their business from the country Ericsson, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Cisco Systems Inc. The reason was the military special operation of Russia in Ukraine.
