PlayStation 5 DualSense it is now available in many neutral colors or with specific patterns (such as the military-style DualSense camo for example) but apparently there are those who wanted to go further, covering their DualSense controller with healthy and more natural wood.
On Reddit, a DIY-loving user reports that he has worked to completely change the look of his controller, removing the plastic cover and replacing it with a wooden shell, but not only because the buttons have been covered in wood with LED lights and the grip has been improved.
For those who fear that LED lights could affect battery consumption, rest assured because the author has declared how battery consumption has not undergone any decline after its modification. We don’t actually know how comfortable this DualSense can be (wood is by nature quite rough and long gaming sessions may not be exactly pleasant) but it is certainly a job well done, an absolutely unique and completely customized controller in every respect.
