Nubia’s Red Magic 8 series will be the world’s first gaming-oriented smartphones to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Nubia is preparing the launch of the new Red Magic 8 series which, initially, will only be available in the Chinese market. The highlight goes directly to the Red Magic 8 Pro model, which, according to the specifications revealed so far, will be the definitive smartphone for gaming fans.
To begin with, the most advanced model will not have its screen OLED of 6.8 inches pierced. Nubia has embedded the 16 megapixel front camera in the bezel to give users a full screen experience with the resolution of 2480×1116 pixels.
This will also be the first gaming smartphone to arrive equipped with Qualcomm’s latest state-of-the-art processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
It is expected that several configurations will be available, with a maximum of 16 GB of RAM and from until 1 TB of storage capacity. To optimize the fast and fluid navigation essential to the gaming environment, this model will probably have RAM LPDDR5 and storage UFS 4.0.
The model will be powered by a very robust battery of 6.000 mAh with fast charging support 165 wattsin addition to running the operating system Android 13.
In the optical part, it will have a triple rear camera configuration that will include a primary sensor of 50 megapixelscomplemented by an ultra wide angle of eight megapixels and a third sensor with two megapixels of resolution.
Rumors suggest that the brand will launch in the Chinese market by the end of this year or in early 2023.
And if this information about its official presentation is confirmed, the Red Magic 8 Pro could be the first gaming smartphone equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to hit the market.
All because the information available about the launch of its rivals Redmi K60 Gaming and Asus ROG 7 points to them arriving later.
