After we already got the third season of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video this year, the creators of the series now want to expand the superhero universe a bit. Gen V is the first spin-off show planned for 2023, where we will get to know a whole range of new characters. Before the turn of the year, Amazon also gave a glimpse of the new series with a first trailer. Fans still have to wait for an exact date.
What is Gen V about?
The spin-off is all about the next generation of Supes, who have to prove themselves in various Hunger Games-like tasks at Godolkin University. Behind this is of course the large corporation Vought International, which fans certainly know well from the original. Gen V will be timed to parallel the events of The Boys season four. In addition to the new characters, several characters from the main series will appear in the spin-off.

The trailer already confirmed the guest appearances of Ashley Barrett (Colby Minifie), A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) and Adam Bourke (PJ Byrne). Starring Gen V, we’ll see actress Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau and Lizze Broadway as Emma Shaw. First info about Season 4 of The Boys
The shooting of the next episodes of The Boys has already started and provided us with the first details about the fourth season. For example, there will be more newcomers with Susan Heyward as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry in the role of Firecracker. The actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, known from The Walking Dead, is also there – but his part in the series is still a secret for the time being. Season 4 is expected to start in 2023.
