Players can now play Warframe together across platforms thanks to cross-platform play on consoles and PC.
Warframe players are now also gathering cross-platform to go on missions together. In the game settings, the function can optionally be switched on or off.
Developer Digital Extremes has enabled cross-platform play for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Appropriate icons for the platform used are now displayed next to the player name.
Now players can form a group beyond their own platform by using the chat and setting the matchmaking to public. Currently, players can then meet in the relay.
What is currently not possible, but will be implemented at a later date, is the cross-platform save. So, at this time, you cannot transfer or continue your progress from platform A to platform B.
