We still don’t know the date of the unveiling of Xiaomi’s new tops, but we know that it will happen soon. However, anyone who wants the best that the Chinese brand has to offer in terms of photography will have to wait for the presentation of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
This model should only be announced in mid-2023, but the first information about your camera is already news. And judging by what is advanced, you will again have a luxury set.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will use Sony’s 1-inch sensor
The data was advanced by Digital Chat Station on the Chinese social network Weibo. The well-known leaker claims that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature the 1-inch Sony IMX 989 sensor, just like the current Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The main difference from the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the integration of gimbal stabilization in its main sensor. This is, at least, the thesis defended by Digital Chat Station in its most recent predictions.
This source also adds that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a total of four cameras. It also features PDAF autofocus and a dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) sensor, ideal for obtaining more accurate depth measurements.
The remaining features of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra camera remain a mystery. To date, we have no predictions about the resolution of the respective sensors, but it is possible that it does not vary much in relation to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
Fast charging at 200 W will be another of its assets
Outside the photographic chapter, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have other highlights such as the inclusion of the brand’s 200 W fast charging technology. Speeds that will make this one of the fastest smartphones in the world to charge your battery.
This technology, it seems, will only be present in selected Xiaomi tops. This means that only the most important models of the Chinese brand in 2023 will have this privilege.
