With the Game Awards approaching, which will award the Game of the Year 2022 prize, Elden Ring and FromSoftware seem to want to put all the chances on their side before the ceremony of December 08. Evidenced by the surprise update, free, unveiled by the official page of the game on their networks. As expected, it bears the name of Coliseum and should confirm the many information found by data miners in the months following the release of Elden Ring:

Indeed, several clues pointed to the work of the FromSoftware teams towards additional content focused on PVP. Already at the beginning of March, barely a week after the release of Elden Ring, unused arenas had then been spotted. Players were therefore already thinking about the reintroduction of competitive arenas from Dark Souls, previous FS games:
Elden Ring will probably get a multiplayer arena DLC some time in the future based on this out-of-bounds video I recorded of a currently inaccessible area in the game. https://t.co/rMx1JvhIGj

Elden Ring will likely get multiplayer arena DLC in the future, if this out of bounds video I recorded of a currently inaccessible area of the game is to be believed.
As the weeks go by, the clues are more and more numerous until the last ones, spotted by Sekiro Dubi: he brings new details concerning certain creatures seen and it is at the beginning of November that he shares that about thirty bosses could appear in a new DLC. Something to get excited about, slightly, about such a discovery before its official announcement.
