Even the mighty Kratos is not immune to bugs, but the new God of War Ragnarök update 3.00 has something much more important on board.
God of War Ragnarök has been making its rounds on the Playstation consoles for about a month and has now received an extensive patch with update 3.00. Not that Kratos and his son were plagued with too many bugs.
The update includes quite a long list of bug fixes and gameplay and combat optimizations, as well as UI fixes, fixing some crashes and improving load times for the PS4 version. You can read the complete patch notes for update 3.00 on the Sony support page.
But what is much more important, especially with such a watchable game: with the update, the much-desired photo mode is now also in the game, which has been promised for quite some time. From now on you can go on a photo tour with Kratos and Atreus and make the dynamic duo look really good.
Photo mode packs quite a few features, including different facial expressions for Kratos, Atreus, Freya, Brok, Sindri, Tyr, Angrboda, Thor, and Thrúd, which calls for fancy memes. Also included are field of view, focal length, camera movement, depth of field, focus distance, F-stop and much more, such as logos or vignettes.
To celebrate the day, there is also a new entry on the photo mode in the Playstation Blog, which among other things gives you some tips for creating the most stylish shots possible. So let your artistic skills run wild, we’re excited to see what’s to come on social media over the next few days.
