According to recent reports, the developers at Guerrilla Games are preparing to unveil a new DLC for “Horizon: Forbidden West”. This should be called “Burning Shores” and appear in 2023.
In recent months, the rumor has persisted that a new DLC or expansion for Guerrilla Games’ action role-playing game “Horizon: Forbidden West” is being worked on.
According to current reports, the DLC chapter will be called “Burning Shores”. This is reported by the insider “The Snitch”, who is considered a reliable source and who already had one a few days ago possible release date about “Final Fantasy XVI”. As Snitch hinted via Twitter, the DLC will be revealed shortly, which could indicate that the official reveal will come at The Game Awards 2022.
A graphic shared by Snitch also suggests that our path will take us to San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles in the Burning Shores DLC.
Will it be released in spring 2023?
The area itself is mentioned several times in “Horizon: Forbidden West” and also appeared in Gildun’s journal. So far, however, it has not been possible to explore the region. When you approached the area, the game promptly told you to turn back. The information from “The Snitch” is supported by his insider colleague Tom Henderson.
Henderson also wants to know that the announcement or presentation of “Burning Shores” is imminent. Henderson also explained that the release of the download extension is currently scheduled for April next year. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.
