Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is a mode from the big release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II that anyone can play without buying the full game. It is a classic battle royale for 150 players. The game supports Russian language and voice acting, has Russian servers, but is not available for download from the Russian Federation.

How to download Warzone 2 on PC

How to install Warzone 2 on Steam
It will take 1 time enable free VPN. Follow these steps in sequence to play Warzone in Russia:
Install the desktop version of the free VPN. A list of such programs can be found in our separate article. Turn on VPN and select any foreign server. Go to the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Steam page, click on the “Play” button. The download should start.
The game will be added to the Steam library, after which you can immediately turn off VPN and continue downloading from the Russian Federation: there will be no problems. Finish downloading, launching, creating/linking an Activision account (no requirements) and burst into the game.
How to play Warzone 2 in Battle.Net
You don’t even need a VPN to play Warzone 2 on PC via Battle.net, but you do need to create a new account and phone number:
On the Blizzard website, start signing up for a new account in the top right corner. Select Kazakhstan as the country and enter your date of birth. Do not select other countries, because this will cause problems with the binding of the phone. Add e-mail and Russian phone number. Blizzard is asking for a number for their free projects: without this step, you will not be able to enter the game further.
After creating an account, use it to log into Battle.net, download Warzone 2 and launch the client. Create/attach the Activision account requested by the game. Battle Royale is now available.

How to download Warzone 2 on Xbox
If you have purchased a licensed version of Modern Warfare II, there will be no launch problems. However, there is no free mode in the Microsoft Store Russia, so you will have to change the region:
Click on Xbox «Options“, go to “System“. Choose a section “Language and location» and change the country from Russia and Belarus to any other. Changing the region will not incur costs: all games + system language will remain. Restart your console and visit your Xbox’s Microsoft Store again. Warzone 2 will be displayed in the catalog, and now it can be freely downloaded. The game is also available through a search on demand.

How to play Warzone 2 on PS
As with previous versions, purchasing the full release of Modern Warfare II removes the restrictions on playing Warzone 2. Follow these steps if you do not have a license and want to try out the free mode. New account required:
Enable desktop VPN, select any foreign server. Open the PlayStation Store website and click “Sign in“. Press “Create a new account». V parameters «Country/region of residence» select Turkey (Turkey). Write an e-mail and create a password. Use gmail international mail. Select city “Istanbul»; postcode — 34060. Parameter “State or Province» is optional. Enter your name and Online ID.
After creating an account, go to the PS Store, find Call of Duty: Warzone 2 through the search or in the category of free games. It remains only to download the mode and start playing. In the future, the account can be used to purchase PS releases: God of War: Ragnarok, Gotham Knights and others.
