Despite the fact that the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 started relatively recently, the art of the second season as MWII and, accordingly, Warzone 2.0 has already appeared on the network. According to the portal Insider Gaming, the picture that got into the network can be considered a leak. Although the picture does not contain much information, it is enough to give a good idea of what will happen in the second season of Modern Warfare II. The fan-favorite map returns, the operator already familiar to the players will appear, and there are hints of a completely new weapon.
The characters are depicted against the backdrop of the Castle map from Call of Duty: World at War, which means that it will definitely return to Modern Warfare 2 with the start of the second season. This map was also available in Call of Duty: Vanguard, so it will be interesting to see exactly how it gets updated for MWII.
It also became known that the “face of the second season” will be Ronin, the operator, who first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019. Despite wielding a katana (which is supposedly a brand new melee weapon), Ronin should not be confused with the Oni, a PlayStation exclusive operator available on the platform’s store.
Perhaps the most attentive players, looking closely at the leaked art, will be able to identify a specific weapon that is not yet in the extensive Modern Warfare II lineup.
