When Monster Hunter Rise was introduced and released only for Nintendo Switch, many Playstation and Xbox gamers were hopeful but understandable at the same time. Hopefully, because there is potential for this game to be more beautiful and satisfying when tasted on their platform, for the latest generation version, it should be able to run at a sharper resolution and texture. While understand? This is a kind of “revenge” for Monster Hunter World which unfortunately is not available for Switch. But in the end, Capcom seems to understand the remaining sales potential of this Rise.
Capcom finally announced the presence of Monster Hunter Rise for Playstation & Xbox in early 2023, which will then be followed by the expansion – Sunbreak in the following spring. Bad news for gamers with limited internet connection, either in terms of speed or quota, Capcom ensures that this release will be available only in digital version! There are no plans to release a physical version at this time. Unfortunately, Capcom did not provide an additional explanation as to why this decision was taken.
