A new comparison video shows the performance of the racing game Need for Speed Unbound.
With Need for Speed Unbound, developer Criterion Games has once again ventured into a new part of the series. The game has been available for consoles and PC since Friday.
In a comparison video, Digital Foundry provides information on how Need for Speed Unbound is doing on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
On paper, the developer specifies 4K @ 60fps for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, and 1280p @ 60fps on Xbox Series S.
According to Digital Foundry, the lowest internal resolution is 1800p on PS5 and 2016p on Xbox Series X. However, the overall resolution is 1944p on PS5 and a full 2160p on Xbox Series X.
The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, achieves an average of 1296p, which means that the image is much softer than the other two consoles.
When measuring the frame rate, the PlayStation 5 is significantly better. Because while the Sony console more or less achieves 60 FPS, between 51 and 57 were found on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X significantly less.
