Gamers can also participate in the Game Awards 2022 and vote for their favorite game. While the survey runs until tomorrow, the evaluation makes it clear that two titles are particularly popular with fans.
The Game Awards 2022 will be presented at the end of the week. While games like “Elden Ring”, “God of War Ragnarök” and “Stray” have a good chance of being voted Game of the Year, they apparently get nothing from the audience award. In the third round of public voting, two other games dominate.
With 54 percent of the vote, “Genshin Impact” currently sits at the top of the rankings, followed by “Sonic Frontiers” with 32 percent of the vote. Only then are the Game of the Year contenders “Elden Ring”, “God of War Ragnarök” and “Stray” listed.
The preliminary results:
Genshin Impact: 54 percent Sonic Frontiers: 32 percent Elden Ring: 8 percent God of War Ragnarok: 5 percent Stray: 2 percent
The figures do not represent the final result, as voting is still going on for more than a day. But there will probably not be any major shifts.
The #1 and #2 placements make it clear that Genshin Impact and Sonic Frontiers have an active community that votes extensively for their favorite titles. Players can take part in player voting and even have a small influence on the result here.
The Game Awards 2022 will be presented next Thursday (local time) in Los Angeles. Due to the time difference, players in Germany have to wait until 1:30 a.m. if they want to watch the show live. However, presenter Geoff Keighley warned that the scope this year somewhat reduced will and fewer big games will show up. Nevertheless, viewers can expect plenty of game presentations.
