It would be strange if it weren’t better.
IGN, which enjoys its dominant position in Western gaming journalism, has received fresh gameplay from the Dead Space remake to use as a showcase of the improvements that have been made in game graphics over the past fourteen years since the release of the original game.
Strictly speaking, this video sequence does not need any special comments: journalists compared the remake with the original frame by frame, so almost a decade and a half of the development of graphic technologies are visible to the naked eye. Everything in the remake pleases: the lighting system, and modern visual effects, and in general a high level of detail. It is also worth noting that many scenes have been reworked in the updated version of Dead Space: in the remake they are much more cinematic and spectacular, so, in theory, the remake will play scarier than the original.
