Apparently, the main news will indeed be heard at TGA.
The rumors were confirmed, and today there really was a whole string of publications of Diablo IV previews from various Western gaming journalists. Blizzard gave journalists the opportunity to spend about ten hours in the novelty, during which you can go through the first act of the single player campaign. Looking ahead a little, we note that the reviewers of Diablo IV liked it, and many are not even shy and compare the brand new role-playing action with their cult relative in the face of Diablo II. Most likely, these are the comparisons fans of the series expected.
According to the reviewers, Blizzard managed to make a dark and at the same time dynamic and effective role-playing action, which can be safely called the spiritual heir to Diablo II, but with some modern mechanics, including those that migrated from the third part. Attention deserves a large amount of cut-scenes, as well as, albeit not very large and branched compared to competitors in the spirit of Path of Exile, but still a well-developed skill tree.
Judging by the comments of journalists, the game does not use auto-leveling of opponents: simpler locations are advised to go through at the initial levels, and leave the more “hard” ones until your character is strong enough.
Additionally, the general “stickiness” of the gameplay is noted: if you believe the reviewers, then the Diablo IV gameplay is well-formed and implemented, preventing the player from getting bored or losing their thirst for further research and pumping.
