Kyivstar has introduced a new tariff “Love for Fathers”, which the operator presents as a special offer for “gentle age customers”. Its key difference and advantage is the reduced cost compared to other tariffs.
Tariff details and conditions
“Love for Fathers” is included in the current LOVE UA 2022 line, and the cost of the tariff is 125 UAH/month. For this amount, the operator offers subscribers a package of services, namely, unlimited calls to the Kyivstar network, 50 minutes to other mobile and landline calls within Ukraine, 50 SMS, 5 GB of mobile Internet, and one additional Superpower. These are additional services that each client can connect without additional payments, in accordance with their needs.
Among the “Superpowers” to choose from, available in the “Love for Fathers” tariff without surcharges:
additional 100 minutes to other networks in Ukraine and abroad; additional 5 GB of mobile internet; “Video on the go” service that allows you to use popular video services without internet billing (YouTube, Kyivstar TV, Netflix, Megogo, Disney+, Apple TV, Amazon Video, 1+1 video).
As for the nuances: a) it is only for subscribers over 60 years old and people with disabilities of groups I-III; b) this tariff is contractual; that is, a prerequisite is to visit the store with a passport (there is no possibility to order online).

It remains to remember that two years ago Kyivstar offered a tariff similar in positioning, which was called “Dzvinki dlya batkiv” and cost only 60 UAH/month.
Social support for older people
In addition to the special tariff, Kyivstar also implements a social initiative to support older people. As part of the educational project Smartphone for Fathers, the mobile operator has created a series of video tutorials. A special educational course is designed to help older people master modern smartphones, as well as bridge the digital divide between generations and debunk age stereotypes in the use of modern technologies. From December 1, Kyivstar for the first time since the beginning of the war raised the monthly fee for some subscription and contract tariffs to 250/month, justifying this by the need to cover the increased costs of restoring and updating infrastructure.
