The announcements of Pistol Whip, Moss and Moss Book 2 for PlayStation VR2, which took place today, have further extended the list of video games intended to accompany the launch of the new generation Sony headset, set for February 23, 2023. For the occasion, we decided to do a good review in view of the big event.
Playstation VR2 | Games confirmed at launch*
PlayStation VR2 is not backwards compatibletherefore at launch you will not be able to access PlayStation VR games that you have already purchased in the past, unless they are intended to receive ad-hoc updates created by the developers.
At the moment, there are 17 video games already confirmed at the launch of PlayStation VR2. Some are absolute novelties, such as Horizon: Call of the Mountain (Sony exclusive which will have the honor and the burden of acting as a showcase for the platform), others instead represent updates of the versions already available on PlayStation 4 for the first generation of PlayStation VR, such as No Man’s Sky, After the Fall and the games mentioned above.

In addition to all these games (some of which can already be pre-ordered on the dedicated page of the PlayStation Store), there are several already confirmed in the period following the launch of PlayStation VR2, such as The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution (expected March 21, 2023), Resident Evil Village VR, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection, Firewall Ultra and Crossfire: Sierra Squad.
