The Game Awards 2022 – what can you expect
Some games that will be shown at the event have already been confirmed. Much more is rumored to be revealed. So you can definitely count on the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. So if you’re in the mood for another action-adventure in the Star Wars universe, you’ve hit the spot with the TGA 2022. You can also expect a teaser for Tekken 8. Novelties will be shown in the pre-show for the multiplayer hit Among Us, while Baldur’s Gate 3 will also play a role. Meanwhile, Destiny 2 developers have confirmed that there will be a new trailer for the Lightfall expansion.
It seems pretty certain that you can expect a new trailer for Final Fantasy 16; at least Game Producer Naoki Yoshida appears with a “special live presentation”. It is relatively unlikely that he will show anything about the MMORPG FF14. Rumors have been circulating for months that Diablo 4 will miss a release period at the TGA 2022. You may find out more about a Horizon Forbidden West DLC and Potterheads are hoping for Hogwarts Legacy. And then there is also the debate as to whether the first DLC for Elden Ring will be presented.
