Tuning studio Manhart presented a whole range of hardware and visual improvements for the BMW M4 Competition and M4 CSL. The list of improvements included new suspension components, a modified body kit, forged wheels, a stainless steel exhaust line and a radical increase in engine power.
The Manhart MH4 GTR II is the direct successor to the collectible BMW M4 GTS DTM Champion Edition. The M4 CSL was taken as the basis for the new coupe, but the modification is also compatible with the M4 Competition. The forced engine attracts special attention in the new car: an in-line “six” with two turbines with an index of 3.0 has a power of 702 hp. and 880 Nm of torque.
Recall that the standard M4 CSL coupe with the S58 engine produces only 550 hp. at 650 Nm of torque. An additional one and a half hundred “horses” appear after installing the MHtronik Powerbox control unit, coupled with a steel exhaust line with a controlled valve.
If desired, the future owner of the car can ask to replace the last component with a racing version without a catalyst. If the desire to spend money on extra options persists after that, then Manhart can install shorter H&R suspension springs and replace the stock wheels with 20-inch Forged+ 1 from Yido Performance.
In terms of interior changes, Manhart is looking to build on the frenetic habits of its charged M4s: four-point harnesses, branded floor mats and even a half-roll bar. And with an aggressive body kit, it becomes even easier to emphasize the character of the Manhart MH4 GTR II: a three-story rear spoiler, a splitter, a ventilated hood and other silhouette changes.
