Meanwhile, the developers of Cloud Chamber Games have been working on the return of the well-known “BioShock” brand for several years. To the chagrin of the waiting followers, however, things have been pretty quiet about the project in the past.
While it is still unclear when official details about the next “BioShock” or even the official unveiling of the title can be expected, we received a small sign of life this week. As Liz Albl confirmed via her own Twitter channel, she was recently hired by Cloud Chamber Games and will be the future narrative lead for the “BioShock” series.
In recent years, the author has worked for various studios and participated in various well-known productions.
The senior writer behind Ghost of Tsushima
According to her resume, Albl’s career began with French publisher Ubisoft. Here she first worked as a writer on the stealth action title “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag”. She was also involved in the stories of “Far Cry 5” and “Watch Dogs: Legion” before Liz Albl’s path led to the US-based studio Sucker Punch in Bellevue.
At PlayStation Studio, Albl was a senior writer responsible for the story and dialogue of the samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima. The industry veteran then joined the development studio Monolith Productions, for which she worked on the new “Wonder Woman” game for around two years.
