While Nvidia has already entered the next-gen era with the Geforce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, competitor AMD will finally follow suit next week. The release of the RX 7900 XT(X) is eagerly awaited, as according to AMD you should have to pay significantly less for the new graphics cards than is currently the case with the new Geforce graphics cards. However, the price of the RTX 4080 is steadily falling, as our Geforce market overview shows. You also pay less for the RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti in a weekly comparison.
How are Geforce prices developing in a weekly comparison?
The biggest price slide is currently being experienced with the RTX 4080. If you want to buy the graphics card, you pay 80 euros less than last week. On the other hand, the Geforce RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti are only 20 euros cheaper, as our market overview of the cheapest Geforce offers from the entry-level model RTX 3050 to the top graphics card Geforce RTX 4090 shows.

Geforce RTX 4070 Ti: Colorful’s first graphics card model revealed
While Nvidia is still keeping a low profile on the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti, board partner Colorful has presented a first custom model and also a few technical details. With the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe, the next graphics card model from Nvidia could already be seen on the Chinese website of the manufacturer Colorful in a first custom design, although the card should not appear until next year. The cooler shown is already used with the RTX 4080 (16GB) in Colorful’s own design, although the RTX 4070 Ti was originally intended to appear as a trimmed RTX 4080 with 12 GiB. According to Colorful, the RTX 4070 Ti will be based on the AD104 GPU and will actually have 12 GiB of GDDR6X memory.
According to Videocardz.com, the GPU clock speed and memory bandwidth are identical to the RTX 4080 12GB. The company has now also confirmed that the former RTX 4080 12GB has actually been renamed RTX 4070 Ti, as the rumors suggested weeks ago. According to the specs, the Colorful graphics card is equipped with a 16-pin power connector that delivers up to 285 watts of power, which is said to be the standard TDP for the RTX 4070 Ti and BattleAx Deluxe. Colorful’s BattleAx series mostly uses Nvidia’s reference specifications, which is why there is already a pretty accurate preview of the RTX 4070 Ti. Meanwhile, a screenshot of the card’s specs shows the label “Tomahawk” due to a translation error. According to the report, however, what Colorful did not mention on the website, which is now no longer accessible, is the number of processing units in the form of CUDA cores.
