Dead Space game news: a remake that really lives up to the original game? There are chances

Dead Space is about to be resurrected and this is frankly good news: to prepare for this unexpected comeback, Electronic Arts has opted for the remake box, which is currently operated by EA Motive, the authors of Star Wars Squadrons. And these new contents herald a high quality overhaul.
18 minutes de gameplay en 4K pour Dead Space Remake
For once, we can say that Electronic Arts has been generous: the American publisher has allowed IGN to broadcast a beautiful gameplay sequence, illustrating the entire introduction to the remake of Dead Space. Eighteen minutes of gameplay captured in 4K to enjoy in the video abovewhich should bring back memories to more than one nostalgic player.
We then follow the misadventures of Isaac Clarke, an engineer who, with his team, goes to contact the USG Ishimura, a gigantic mining vessel that no longer answers the call. After a hard landing, Isaac and his comrades realize that the station is infested with necromorphs, bloodthirsty creatures that cut up anything that moves without any politeness. A hell of a mess from which he will have to extricate himself at all costs.
An edifying comparison with the original game
These eighteen minutes promise a powerful experience, with technical and audio production with little onions. As Dead Space was in its time, some will say: precisely because you quickly get used to what is pleasant, it seemed necessary to put the redesign and the original game side by side. Who was already very handsome in 2008, by the way.
This video comparison also comes from IGN and the result is edifying: EA Motive is on track to deliver an impressive remake, and not just graphically. We recall for example that Isaac Clarke was silent in the basic adventure, which will not be the case here: the dialogues and scenes will therefore expand for a better worked narration, but always respecting the constant sequence plan.
Likewise, combat situations will be even more stressful, especially with several new possibilities such as moving freely in weightless areas. The brightness will also be completely revised and the sound design promises to be monstrous (strictly speaking).
Everything will harness the power of the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series but beware: Dead Space will not be released on PS4 and Xbox One on January 27th. Take it for granted!
