Fractal Design has expanded its range of mid-tower cases with the North model. Its distinguishing feature is the front panel with wooden elements. Available in walnut and oak versions.
Inside the case there is room for an ATX motherboard, a CPU cooler up to 170mm high, seven expansion cards up to 355mm long and an ATX-compatible power supply. There are seats for three 3.5- and a pair of 2.5-inch drives, as well as 30 mm clearance for cable routing behind the motherboard tray. Case dimensions are 447 x 215 x 469 mm with a weight of 7.6-7.7 kg.
The Fractal Design North side panel is available in fine mesh or tempered glass. It is possible to install up to eight 120mm or up to six 140mm fans, as well as 120, 240 and 360mm coolant radiators. On the front panel, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one Type-C and a pair of 3.5 mm audio jacks are available. Two Aspect 14 PWM fans are included in the package.
