Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania finally heralds phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on cinema screens around the world. In a total of six films, Marvel rolls out the carpet for a new villain so that he can then challenge the reunited Avengers in Phase Six. Thanos’ spiritual successor is Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors. We already got to know him in Loki on Disney Plus. In the new episodes of the second season, he is joined by a female antagonist who will look all too familiar to Game of Thrones fans.

Admittedly, due to the different timelines, multiverses and realities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many viewers may find it difficult to keep track of the individual characters. Loki Season 2 will be released on Disney Plus in 2023 and will be part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Alongside Kang the Conqueror, we’ll see a female villain who will rise to become the demigod’s main antagonist.
This is apparently and an older version of Sylvie Rundeydottir, which is an alternative version of Loki. The younger version was played by Sophia Di Martino in Season 1. For the new episodes, none other than Kate Dickie slips into the role of the female Loki. The Scottish actress became world famous thanks to Game of Thrones.

Who is Kate Dickie? A cursory glance at a photo of the Scottish actress is enough to send shivers down the spines of Game of Thrones fans. From 2011 to 2014, she played Lady Lysa Arryn in the series adaptation of fantansy author George RR Martin’s best-selling series.
