Sales of expensive smartphones are declining in Russia, but the iPhone is still in the lead

Retailers are starting to take stock of annual sales. And this time, representatives of the Russian market spoke about the sales of smartphones.

How it transmits “Kommersant”in MTS sales in pieces fell year-on-year by 19%, and in money terms – by 22%. Since the beginning of the year, about 21 million devices have been sold for 477 billion rubles. And the average bill at the same time amounted to 22 thousand rubles, which is 3% lower than last year’s relative figure.

And the top 5 retailer is as follows: Xiaomi and its “daughter” Poco, Samsung, Realme, Apple and Tecno. At the same time, Apple tops the list in terms of money, followed by Samsung, Xiaomi and Poco, Realme and Tecno.

AT “Citylink” presented slightly different data. In terms of unit sales, Xiaomi, Realme and Samsung are leading, and in terms of money – Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung.

By the way, smartphone sales are likely to grow at the end of the year. Since it is this category of goods that is gaining special popularity before the New Year holidays. In particular, smartphones take second place in the list of the most desired gifts.
