Well, Samsung seems to have the solution to all problems, with what seems to be the ultimate ATM card!
Samsung has a multiband card with fingerprint sensor!
Therefore, Samsung wants to revolutionize the world of payments, not with its mobile phones or smartwatches, but with a biometric card. In other words, a card very similar to the ATM/credit cards that we have in our wallets, but which also brings a fingerprint sensor to the table, as well as a chip equipped with many security features, namely in the field of encryption.
How does the thing work?
Well, to use it, you just need to do what you already do nowadays with your cards, with the difference of putting your thumb on the sensor while doing so.
When does it hit the market?
The first model, known as Samsung S3B512C is already being mass produced, to reach the market in 2023. Will it arrive in Portugal? It is still too early to say, but it is very likely that this region is not even under consideration at the moment. The markets are likely to be the same as for the Apple Card at the time of its launch.
