Street Fighter is a cult saga that likes to make its episodes last as long as possible: six years after its fifth installment, Street Fighter 6 will go to fists in 2023. So far, Capcom has only communicated a vague 2023 when it comes to the release of Street Fighter 6. Not long ago, we learned via a quarterly report that the title would not be released before April. . Today, Sony seems to confirm this track since a release date has just leaked, via pre-orders of the game on the PlayStation Store.
As the screenshot below clearly indicates, Street Fighter 6 would therefore be released on June 2, 2023. So of course, we will wait for an official confirmation but this leak comes just before the Game Awards 2022 ceremony which will take place in the evening, a ceremony that Capcom rightly advised, yesterday, to watch so “not to miss the exciting announcements”. We would not be surprised if a new trailer for the fighting game, with a release date, was planned in these.
