First-person co-op shooter Back 4 Blood has received its third paid add-on called River of Blood. As in the case of the previous ones, it is available for purchase both separately and as part of the season pass.
The add-on added the 6th act of the story campaign to the game, in which players go on a journey up the river, stopping at different points to collect supplies and destroy new types of enemies. The new Cleaner is an outcast cultist named Tala, who is able to summon Jeff, a friendly brute. The game also includes 8 exclusive character skins, 12 exclusive weapon skins, new weapons, accessories, and maps.
Simultaneously with the paid add-on, the developers released a free update that added the PvE mode “Test of the Worm”. In it, players can add interference modifiers and vote on the next map to increase the amount of points earned by increasing the difficulty. The task is to go through all four maps and earn a place on the leaderboard.
