Xiaomi had postponed its December 1 conference due to national mourning. We finally know when the Xiaomi 13 will be unveiled.

We were expecting the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro on December 1, but national mourning had prevented the Chinese giant from maintaining its conference. A week later, the brand announced on the Weibo social network that its conference would take place on Sunday December 11 at 12 p.m., metropolitan France time.
As usual, the brand did not wait for the official presentation to show many visuals on its various social network accounts. We can therefore already discover the design of the Xiaomi 13 (in white below) and the Xiaomi 13 Pro (in green below):

The Xiaomi 13 adopts a square photo block
The photo block of the Xiaomi 13 therefore adopts a square design. We also find the fine lines that separate the sensors and which already gave their identity to the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. The photo block of the Xiaomi 13 Pro also looks thicker than that of its non-pro counterpart. Enough to accommodate its 50-megapixel one-inch sensor, the same as that of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
The expectations for the new Xiaomi are clear to us: that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip does not heat up as much as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and that the interface improves with the upgrade to MIUI 14.
