German-American publisher Aerosoft and German indie game developer Thera Bytes games have announced that their zombie-themed sandbox lab “Zombie Cure Lab” has become available on PC via Steam Early Access. Supported languages include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and simplified Chinese.
Years after an apocalyptic event that has brought humanity to the brink of extinction, a group of scientists emerge from an underground sanctuary to put an end to the zombie masses. Lead a team of heroic researchers and build a facility while researching the cure. Explore the environment for raw materials to build the original facility before upgrading it to a base with new buildings, lab equipment and fortifications to defend the area.
By setting traps and capturing attacking zombies, you are taking the first step towards saving humanity. Use the captives as test subjects in an attempt to reverse the infection. Each successful treatment brings the team one step closer to the final cure. In addition, newly created human-zombie hybrids, affectionately referred to as Humbies, are invaluable workers helping scientists and gathering much-needed resources.
