Today at the 2022 Game Awards, Bungie released the latest trailer for the upcoming expansion – Destiny 2: Lightfall – which will be released on February 28th, 2023. The gameplay trailer introduces the brand new Focus Strang, the Neptunian neon metropolis of Neomuna, and much more.
Destiny 2 was also nominated for Best Ongoing Game and Best Community Support at the 2022 Game Awards. Bungie would like to thank all of the Guardians who voted for the team – and promises to continue striving to provide the best player experience and community support in Destiny 2.
Earlier this week, the season of the Seraphe started in “Destiny 2”. It features new seasonal activities and weekly missions culminating in acquiring a new exotic weapon. There are also Crucible updates and much more. This week also saw the start of the Moments of Triumph celebration, as Guardians can come together to celebrate their achievements over the past year of The Witch-Queen expansion and prepare for the launch of Destiny 2: Lightfall.
