The evening of The Game Awards 2022 awarded Elden Ring as Game of the Year, From Software’s blockbuster took home four awards, establishing itself as one of the great protagonists of the event. But the joy of fans looks set to grow more and more in the near future.
From the TGA 2022 stage, after having collected the most important award, the director Hidetaka Miyazaki took the floor not only to thank the public for the support shown over time for his latest blockbuster, but also to promise that the Elden Ring-themed surprises they are by no means finished. “As far as Elden Ring is concerned, we still have a lot of things we want to do,” revealed Miyazaki, reiterating his intention to further expand what he has already created so far with the beloved Action / RPG.
However, it seems that we will have to wait a little longer before discovering concrete news on the future of Elden Ring, given that during the event presented by Geoff Keighley No announcements have been made regarding new content. Before the Game Awards there were false rumors about the Bane of Disputant DLC for Elden Ring, and nothing of the kind has obviously materialized.
However, rumors have been chasing each other for some time about a substantial expansion in development at the From Software studios and, after Miyazaki’s words, all that remains is to wait for concrete news coming soon.
