During the TGA 2022 ceremony last night, representatives of Electronic Arts finally showed the first video with the gameplay of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developed by the Respawn Entertainment team. It also became known that the project will be released on March 17 next year on PC and consoles of the current generation.
In terms of gameplay, the sequel does not differ much from the original: players will still have to travel to different planets, fighting different opponents, unlocking new skills and tools, and completing tasks. Apparently, the main character will sometimes be accompanied by companions with whom it will be possible to perform joint combos.
There will also be new Strength skills and additional combat styles. The plot of the sequel starts 5 years after the events told in the original. Cal Kestis is still fighting the Empire, which takes him to the outskirts of the galaxy.
