After communicating the news for LEC 2023, the top European championship of League of Legends, Riot Games communicates the replacing the All-Star event with the Kick-Off eventdesigned to celebrate the start of a new ranked and esports season internationally.
Nine regional leagues will celebrate the start of the competitive new year with a two-day event, between 10 and 11 January 2023: From LEC to VCS, passing through the titans of LCK and LPL, in this special occasion Riot Games and the most famous players of Summoner’s Rift will offer a preview of the next competitive season among the news for the game and the most promising players to follow.
At the moment no further details are known about what will be seen during Kick-Off. One thing is certain: Riot will be able to offer many exciting moments just like during the classic early season All-Star event, while also giving a deserved break to the professionals of the esport scene League of Legends global game.
