Midfielder of the Croatian national team Mateo Kovacic shared his expectations from the match of the 1/4 finals of the 2022 World Cup against the national team of Brazil.
“We have an important match ahead of us, which is normal for a World Cup quarter-final. The opponent is strong, they play great football. We want to prove that we also play great football and try to reach the semi-finals.
We still have time to analyze them, assess their strengths and weaknesses. What we need to do now is focus on ourselves. You need to be united and aggressive. We are a talented team. Brazil is not too happy when the opposing team has the ball, so we will try to impose our style of play. We will attack and try to go further,” Kovacic said.
The match between Croatia and Brazil will take place on Friday, December 9th. Beginning at 17:00 Kyiv time.
