Apart from the formal announcement in September, there has been practically nothing to see from “Tekken 8”. That all changed last night at the Game Awards thanks to a new trailer.
Here we are offered moving images of Jin, Jun and the Kazuya family from “Tekken 8”. These suggest that a graphically opulent brawler is coming our way.
Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, “Tekken 8” will take the fighting genre to an unprecedented visual and immersive level using the latest technology. “Tekken 8” picks up right after the gruesome battle that ended in Heihachi Mishima’s defeat. But the focus is different now, because now only Jin Kazama can stop his father, Kazuya Mishima, before he takes over the world.
“Tekken 8” is in the works for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC, but has no release date yet.
