The New Year Festival of The Elder Scrolls Online begins on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 16:00 CET and runs through Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 16:00 CET. If you would like to participate in this year’s Year-End Celebration, you must first obtain the event’s starter quest, “The New Life Festival,” which can be found in the in-game Crown Store.
Once you have the quest, meet New Year’s Herald Breda at the tent south of Windhelm in Eastmarch. You can also teleport directly to her using the portal found at each Impresaria location. After completing the quest, you will receive Breda’s Bottomless Mead Jar, which you can find in your Collection under “Tools” and activate repeatedly to gain 100 percent additional experience for two hours each time.
Once you complete the introductory quest, you will unlock ten event-specific daily quests, nine from Breda and one from Petronius Galenus. As part of these special quests, you will be sent to all four corners of Tamriel to spread the holiday cheer wherever you go.

The rewards of the 2022 Lunar New Year
Every time you complete any of the daily event quests, you will be rewarded with a New Year’s Festival gift. Inside each of these wintry coffers you’ll find some of the following rewards:

Impresaria and event tickets
During this holiday event, the first New Life Festival daily quest you complete will reward you with three Event Tickets in addition to the New Life Festival Gift. This means you can earn up to a whopping 60 Event Tickets in total! But remember, you can only carry 12 Event Tickets at a time. Any Event Tickets you receive after this cap is reached will be lost.
