Good Shepherd Entertainment and developers from Upstream Arcade announced a stylish game about Hellboy entitled Hellboy Web of Wyrd. The first trailer for the game was shown during The Game Awards 2022.
Hellboy Web of Wyrd will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but the developers have not yet disclosed the release date.
Players will experience an action-adventure with roguelike elements and hard-fought battles against nightmarish enemies. The art style of Hellboy Web of Wyrd looks unique and memorable – the game seems to have stepped out of the pages of a comic book.
The plot of the Hellboy Web of Wyrd is an original story created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics and Hellboy comic series creator Mike Mignola.
Hellboy is in for several separate adventures, each of which is connected to a mysterious legacy. Butterfly houses – a residence built by an occultist in 1962 to open a portal to a terrible dimension Wird. It is there that Hellboy will have to go to find his missing colleague and fight with the local inhabitants.
