One Match in Unrated Mode Ends when the Team Wins a Total of 13 Rounds
As you know, one match in Valorant takes a very long time to complete. For example, in Unrated mode, there are a maximum of 25 rounds that can be played. The first team to win a total of 13 rounds in that mode wins the match.
This rule triggers matches in Valorant to only be completed in a very long time. This is a complaint for players who want to spend a short time playing.

Riot Games has finally announced a new mode that offers a short gameplay time in a match. Of course, that mode still retains a key element in the game. The mode is titled Swiftplay, a shortened version of the Unrated mode.
According to the official website, Swiftplay offers 4 rounds of half-time, a credit bonus system at the start of the round, and sudden death overtime. Each Swiftplay match is expected to be around 15 minutes long. The first team to win a total of 5 rounds will win the match.
This mode is available on December 7, 2022 as part of patch version 5.12. Keep in mind, Riot Games is still showing this mode as a beta. Players are expected to give their opinion on the new game mode. The beta stage for Swiftplay mode is slated to end on January 11, 2023.

Meanwhile, Riot Games held various exciting events to welcome the end of the year. One of them is a livestream event entitled Re//Load as a form of collaboration with Crown Channel. The event will be a 2022 flashback celebration for Valorant fans. Re//Load will be held on Twitch on December 17, 2022 at 01.00-06.00 WIB.
