Insiders from Team China decided to please fans of Genshin Impact with two new videos at once related to version 3.4, which should be released in mid-January next year and add two new characters to the game: Yao Yao (Dendro, spear) and al-Haytama (Dendro, one-handed sword).
In the first cutscene, al-Haytham, along with Nahida, Ye Lan, and Kollei, can be seen fighting the new boss Setekh Sandworm. In terms of movement, the new enemy resembles the Serpent of Ruins from the Rift, but unlike its mechanical “relative”, it is able to fly short distances, as it belongs to the Anemo element. Plus, it has a 60% resistance to this element.
The second video shows Yao Yao and al-Haytham fighting various enemies from the new desert area. Mostly Hilichurls, but at the end of the video you can see a huge Electro Scorpion, which, judging by the health bar, is a new elite enemy.
In addition, insiders have published a clearer map of the new region, renderings of the Sandworm and a couple of new screenshots, which can be found a little higher.
